**Didsbury Golf Club** is a parkland course situated in the South of Manchester. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced **Head Greenkeeper** to run our dedicated greens department.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf management, irrigation and fertilisation, ensuring the course is presented in an excellent condition for members and guests in line with our Course Policy Document.
- Carry out and oversee course improvements in line with our STRI plan.
- Supervise and lead a team of greenkeeping staff providing training and support to ensure an efficient workforce.
- Oversee, carry out work around the clubhouse grounds to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Communicate with the Greens Chairman and Club Manager to discuss any course issues.
- Liaise with and oversee contractors when required.
- Manage the ground maintenance within the club’s budget.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Level 3 qualification in horticulture or equivalent.
- PA1, PA2 and PA6a chemical spraying and chainsaw qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures in a golf course environment.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff and contractors.
- Experience in managing and leading a team, any additional management qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to use all greenkeeping equipment and machinery.
