**The Role**
To support the HR Advisors and Heads of HR, providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to the business. The HR Assistant will work collaboratively across the business centres of excellence to support the HR delivery and projects. The individual will support and coach managers across a number of people matters, acting as a shared HR resource for the UK-wide team.
**Role Responsibilities**
Talent Management
- Work in close collaboration with the HR team and Resourcing to coordinate recruitment and onboarding
- Partner with internal customers, supporting recruitment for junior staff roles
- Work with line managers; HR Advisor / Heads of HR and Resourcing to ensure that all vacancies are managed effectively from the point of discussing resource requirements through to advertisement, offer and onboarding
- Manage and facilitate the scheduling of the HR Induction process
- Support with HR induction programme
- Work in close collaboration with Resourcing regarding Offer letters, Contact changes etc.
Engagement & Culture
- Electronic filing
- Support the HR Advisors with Invites to discipline, Discipline outcome letters and document preparation
- At times may be required to support discipline or grievance investigations
- Support the Head of HR with the Well-being agenda
- Ad hoc admin support for HR Advisor and Head of HR.
- Support wider team with policy development and administration
- Minute taking
- Handling of employee HR queries
- Ensure all data required for payroll is processed accurately
- Act as 1st point of contact for all Modern Family Leave, maternity/paternity, and Parental leave requests
Learning & Development
- Provide administration support to the Global Learning and Development Agenda
- Support Learning by socialising the benefits of the line manager and employee resources available
- Initially a 6-month FTC - Could be extended.
- 50/50 Hybrid working pattern
- Travel is potentially needed between 2 locations but the main base is in Glasgow City Centre
- Salary banding DOE
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
