**Job Title**: Zone Leader-Shift A: Rotating Mon to Fri 6 am to 2 pm/ 2 pm to 10 pm

**Reports to**: Shift Manager

**Location**: Leek Foods UK

**Salary**: £32,000 to £38,000 depending on experience

Ornua is actively seeking a Zone Leader to join our Operations department as we continue our growth trajectory. The Zone leader will play a key role in championing operational standards at shift level and promote team development to achieve goals and KPIs.

**Why This Role Is Valuable**:
The Zone Leader is responsible for leading on safe working practices, food safety and quality standards, full accountability for the Zone performance in terms of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and Environment (SQCDME), Creating a fun and dynamic working environment; a place where people choose to be, Managing and attending Short Interval Control (SIC) daily review meetings and action planning accordingly, the accurate, timely, collation and analysis of performance measurables and initiating remedial action, building strong relationships, Improving zone performance, embedding an ethos of Continuous Improvement using standardised business tools and techniques to achieve results, Timely and effective management of material yields.

**What You Bring To The Role**:
To ensure timely decision making through good time management and be a proactive problem solver Strong team player who is able to demonstrate a flexible approach to management Experience in change control is essential along with good communication skills with the ability to relay information to your team.
Someone who loves the pace and excitement of a thriving manufacturing business Computer literate in MS office Good communicator with strong people leadership Ability to interpret different sources of data
