**Security Specialist**
**Location**:London (Hybrid)
**Length**:11.5 months
**Rate**:£32.69 p/h
**Hours**:9am - 6pm
- Deliver full pieces of an analysis that is integrated into an overarching analytical outcome (e.g., research, experimental design using analytical tools to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, storytelling and consulting to business leaders to drive action,and designing data strategies for reporting and dashboards).
- Translate and refine business questions into tractable analysis and evaluation metrics.
- Plan and execute prioritized work including selecting appropriate methods to most effectively achieve analysis objectives.
- Develop roadmap, and track action plans and risk and issue logs to keep the analysis on track.
- Solve data-related questions based on information gathered on the business domain for effective decision-making.

**Challenge**:

- Identify and recommend creative ways to improve solutions to defined problems via selection of better analytical methods and tools.
- Address commonly escalated issues and triage when required.

**Influence**:

- Work within one or more teams to communicate knowledge, goals, and priorities, and provide guidance to more junior team members.
- Identify and build networks internally and externally and contribute to cross-team collaborations.
- Communicate business results and related findings to leadership and other teams by preparing presentations and identifying key takeaways.
- Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for assigned components of an analytical outcome.
- Address conflicts between the goals and objectives of the stakeholders by understanding the nature of the problem and underlying assumptions.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of analytical tools, statistical methods, critical thinking, and business context to analyze data.
- Utilize analytical proficiency to develop an agile methodology and make actionable recommendations based on data and market trends.
- Demonstrate strong research skills and awareness of state-of-the-art research methods.

**Skills**:

- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in a security operations center, emergency service control room, or similar command center/call center environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment
- 5 to 7 years of experience
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
