Quality Inspector

aMpeople recruitment are excited to be in partnership with a well-established company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to add an experienced **Quality Inspector **to their team. This position will work on a full time, permanent basis.
- **Role**: Quality Inspector
- **Location**:Hyde
- **Salary**: Negotiable depending on experience
- **Hours**:Monday to Friday, 41.5 hours per week. Just over £35K.

**Duties as Quality Inspector will include but not be limited to**:

- Carrying out final inspections on finished products
- Approve finished and in-process product to ensure they meet customer requirements
- Complete and compile FAIR inspections
- Provide feedback issues to operators and coach where necessary
- Liaising with operators to ensure products are within customer specifications
- Taking part in the MRB process and quality CI initiatives
- Keep up to take with best practice
- Measuring work by using a range of hand tools
- Working to ensure there are no faults within the products
- Work closely with the quality team throughout the business
- Liaise with clients and suppliers
- Offsite working
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Covering the Quality Charge-Hand during annual leave/absences

**The successful Quality Inspector will possess the following skills**:

- Experience within similar role is a must
- Good understanding of AS9100 and FAIRs process
- Intermediate and final inspection of sheet metal aerospace components, assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Packages
- ISO9001, ISO14001 and NADCAP experience
