Painter / Decorator (Bank)

Castle Craig Hospital is recruiting a Painter and Decorator to join their bank staff in the Services Department.

As a Painter and Decorator you will be responsible for decorating and repairs for the interior and exterior of the buildings.

Applicants must have:

- Painting and decorating experience. (Time served, and qualifications preferred)
- You must have a full, clean drivers licence.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in teams and on your own initiative.
- Good communication skills.
- Plastering experience would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Using brushes, rollers or spraying equipment.
- Maintaining your tools in good working condition.
- Removing old paint or wallpaper by sanding or scraping, or by using heat guns, liquid paint removers or steam strippers.
- Repairing cracks and holes in walls.
- Preparing and cleaning surfaces.
- Adhere to safety rules on site.
- Reading specifications to determine required materials.
- Effective time management.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.87 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
