IT Helpdesk Support Technician required for a global manufacturing company to provide high quality, professional first line support to internal customers on a wide variety of IT technical support issues.

First-rate PC technical support skills are essential, along with good general skills in Ethernet networking environments. Previous AS400 experience and familiarity with Backups, AntiVirus and Active Directory would be extremely advantageous.

You will require strong interpersonal skills and be able to quickly establish rapport and credibility with internal customers. You will also be conversant with the procedures and systems used within a Helpdesk/Support environment. Ideally you will have aminimum of one years' experience in a similar technical support role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Technical support - fault diagnosis, repairs and installs of equipment such as PC's, laptops, Printers, Peripherals, mobile devices and software.
- Responsibility for the smooth daily running of the business critical systems and the associated communications to remote sites.
- Ensuring documentation and internal databases are kept up to date, procedures are followed and that information logged on the helpdesk call system is reliable to ensure consistent statistical reporting.
