Renewable System Designer

Sentinel Energy Limited is an electrical installation and Renewable Energy company, providing services throughout the UK and we are a people focused business.

We are seeking a renewables system designer to join our team based in Alnwick

**Tasks and responsibilities include**:
Creating accurate panel plans, schematics, and initial system design for domestic Solar PV installations

Creating accurate heat loss calculations and initial system design for domestic air source heat pump heating systems.

Assisting installers across the country with compliance, technical and best practice queries on and off site.

Assisting the department with other tasks to ensure that installations go according to plan and customers get a great service.

**The ideal applicant must**:
Be observant and attentive, with an excellent attention to detail.

Be computer literate and be able to convey technical information with ease.

Have an understanding of the installation process of solar PV systems and air source heat pumps, with knowledge of various manufacturer requirements and specifications.

Have knowledge of building regulations, accreditation standards, and the post-installation certification process.

Be passionate about renewable energy, and the changing face of the UK’s carbon footprint.

Be willing to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferable

The hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
