Blue Arrow is working in partnership with an Industry leader fabrication specialist based in Cheshire and are looking for experienced Robot Weld Operators to join their highly skilled team. As a Robot Weld Operator, you will mainly be responsible for the operation of computer-controlled machines.

**Location**

There are bus routes which pass by the site which are 317, 37, 38. The closest bus station to the site is called "Rookery Tavern".

**Pay**

Pay Range: Basic day rate £10.50 to £12.70 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)

Pay Range: 6-2 shift rate £11.81 to £14.29 per hour (dependent upon skills and experience)

Pay Range 2-10 shift £ 13.13 to £15.88 per hours (dependent upon skills and experience)

**Hours**

Hours: 07:30am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30am to 12:30pm Friday but could be asked to work a shift patterns (Shift Allowance will be payable on top of basic pay) 06:00am to 14:00pm hours (Friday finish at 12:00 hours) and/or 14:00pm to 22:00pm hours (Friday 12:00pm to 18:00pm hours) dependent upon customer demands and business needs.

Overtime: Available but not guaranteed.

Overtime rate: Between £13.97 to £16.89 (dependent upon basic pay rate). For any overtime hours worked over 48 hours the rate increases between £15.75 to £19.05 per hour (dependent upon basic pay rate).

**Contract Type: Permanent**

**Job Role**
- You will be responsible for the set up and operation of computer-controlled machines/robots to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.
- Measuring dimensions of finished product to ensure conformance to customer specifications using measuring equipment, templates, and fixtures.
- Setting up jobs whilst robots are in operation.
- Managing all robot machine settings and making necessary adjustments.

**About you**
- Previous experience of using press brake.
- Preferred 2 years' experience as a machine operator.
- The ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Interpreting geometric tolerances.
- Previous mechanical/automotive experience is desirable.
- Welding experience is highly advantageous however, not essential.
- Keen eye for detail and precision.
