**About The Role**:
We are currently looking to recruit a motivated and organised individual who has a background in the Health & Social Care / Childcare sector.

To complete Initial Assessment and Guidance with the learners

Produce Schemes of Work, Session Plans and Assessment Plans

Mark assessments, hold learner progress meetings and discuss action plans

Prepare, deliver and assess Health and Social Care qualifications for Employability and Personal Social Development to Young People residing in a Forevercare placement.

Prepare, deliver and assess Health and Social Care qualifications for Residential Childcare staff and management (level 3 and level 5)

Uphold Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity and all relevant legislation whilst planning and delivering courses.

Recognise and report any safeguarding concerns
- Skills:
- Trainer / Assessor will operate as practitioners of their field of expertise which will significantly contribute to the learner experience and assist in ensuring the distinctiveness and success of the course.
- Good communication skills and well organised.
- Being supportive and patient.
- Being able to work alone or with a team.
- Have good interpersonal abilities.
- Being able to clearly explain complex topics.
- A methodical approach to work.
- Accurate report writing and record keeping skills.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Assessors’ qualification (required) - PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, CAVA, Certificate in Education or PGCE / D32, D33 or A1 and A2, TAQA, Award in Education and Training and Certificate in Education and Training.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care / Childcare (required).
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care / Childcare (Required/or willing to work towards within 3 months).
- Children’s Residential or Childcare Experience: 3 years (required).
- Young People Supported Accommodation Experience: 1 year (required).
- Full driving license and use of own vehicle.
- Strong IT Skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced environment to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in a team and working unsupervised.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Level 2 in Safeguarding - Desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
