Do you coach children after school or on weekends and looking for some flexible work close to home?

Tradewind is looking for engaging, warm, and personable people who are able to cover PE lessons in Wirral secondary schools. We work with schools across the borough and have a consistent need for qualified and unqualified teachers to cover PE and other generallessons

As an agency, we can offer both part-time and full-time work that fits around your schedule, alongside day-to-day work. Whatever suits your availability, needs, and skills - please get in touch as we will have something for you

**As a sports specialist your responsibilitieswill include**:

- Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
- Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
- Delivering pre-planned lessons
- Using provided resources to encourage learning
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom or sports hall or drama studio
- Developing independent study skills and peer learning
- Pastoral and learning support
- Managing handover back to the teacher

**The Essentials**:

- Have a minimum of six week's experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers
- A referee Tradewind can contact to take a detailed reference to account for this experience
- Provide a full CV with employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Bachelor's degree or similar equivalent qualification
- Able to get to Wirral by 8.30 with 30 minutes' notice.
