HIRING, ESTATE TEAM (GARDENER, HOUSEKEEPER, GUILDFORD, SURREY, £70K NEG, PLUS ACCOM AND BILLS PAID.

We are seeking an experienced and friendly domestic to join an established team on a beautiful estate in the Surrey Hills, just 15 minutes outside the centre of Guildford. The estate comprises of a 10-bedroom house, 60 acres of land, 10 acres of vineyard, and 5 acres of formal gardens surrounding a Manor House.

One half of the couple will:
Assist the gardening and vineyard team as and when required including:
General pruning and management shrubs and trees throughout the gardens.

Pool Maintenance

Dealing with heating and other systems including plant rooms and boilers

Mowing with various equipment, including John Deere ride-on greens mower,

Maintaining lawns,

Strimming banks and paths, cutting and clearing long grass areas, and hedge cutting.

General tidying and sweeping of paths, terraces, and maintaining gravel drives.

Keeping the outdoor areas of the property well maintained, general DIY

Maintenance of cars including washing, refuelling, organising MOTS

General errands and driving such as airport and station runs and shopping.

Dealing with contractors and deliveries.

House and dog sitting by arrangement when the client travels.

Working within beds of mixed planting

Care of shrubs, box, and yew topiaries

Lawn mowing and general lawn care throughout the season

Strimming and hedge cutting

Maintenance of the ponds

Pruning of fruit trees and roses

Dog walking twice a day

The other team member will work mainly indoors to maintain the house to a high standard.

Housekeeping to a high standard

General laundry and ironing

Weekly linen changes

Preparation of guest bedrooms as and when required.

There is no cooking in this role but you may be asked to assist prepping in the kitchen or to prepare drinks and light snacks for guests as required.

Anything else required to ensure that the house and estate run smoothly.

House and dog sitting while away

Be an experienced domestic couple that have worked together in a private household or similar.

You will both need a full driving licence.

Written checkable references.

You will need to be Positive, Trustworthy, reliable, proactive & happy to work as part of a team in a collaborative fashion.

Happy with dogs

One of you will have good IT skills

Days of Work and Salary:
Monday to Friday

Working hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with 1 hours lunch break and 2, 15 minute or 1, 30 minute other break during the day

(Please note that one half of the couple who works outdoors will have their hours adjusted seasonally by 30 mins to an hour according to daylight

**Salary**:£70K neg dependent on references and skill set.

Fully furnished 1 or 2 bedroom apartment with open plan living room and kitchen, 2 bathrooms and all bills included.

No suitable for pets or dependents

April - June Start (will wait for you to serve notice with a current employer)
