Storeroom Assistant

Location: Kingston upon Thames

Starting Salary: £25,740 full clean Driving licence required

Hours: 45 hours per week (part-time hours considered).

A successful and well-established fire alarm company based in Kingston upon Thames is currently looking to recruit an experienced Storeroom assistant. Your role would entail providing a high standard of support across the office, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in a consistently accurate and timely manner.
- Order materials for jobs and stock
- Assist with any store/stock duties. e.g., receive and process the deliveries
- Sorting waste for recycling.
- Help keep the store neat and tidy
- Prepare materials for jobs, projects and preparing for the drivers to collect
- Book jobs for drivers
- Keep record of incoming and outgoing site keys by logging into designated excel sheet
- Log outgoing materials
- Help drivers to load and unload materials and dispose of waste materials
- Load and unload old and new fire extinguishers from the crate
- Collecting, delivering materials from site to site
- Assisting with callouts if required
- Filing, Database/spreadsheet work
- Other admin duties

Eligibility Criteria

You must have:

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to multi-task and manage your time and workload efficiently, working to deadline under supervision
- Confident, builds rapport with peers internally and externally
- Strong IT skills; Outlook, Word, Excel etc, plus excellent typing skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
