As our Lantra M6 Traffic Management Operative (M6) will, you will assist the 12D Assistant Manager with the delivery of day-to-day, new and existing, Traffic Management works. You will be the key point of contact between the Operatives and the Management Team. Where there is no large scheme to manage, you will be responsible for the training, compliance and safety of Operatives within the depot.

**Relationships**:
a) Report to: 12D Depot Manager

b) Liaison with: Head of Diversion, Assistant Manager, Operatives, Business Administrator and** **Human Resources.

c) Role Split: 45-hour contract; 10% office based
- 1 hours per day/ 80% Site based

**Key responsibilities in **addition to completing yard and on-site Lantra M1/2/5/6 duties include;**
- Site Audits
- Training assessments for Operatives within the depot.
- Ensure works comply with client, Lantra and HSE legislations.
- Development of Traffic Management Operatives, mentor trainees during their training
- Stock takes and stock Management.
- Escalation points operatives
- TMO Paperwork checking (i.e., RAMS On/off Hire sheets, damage sheets) via tablets can be delegated to the M6 but this task should not be a priority over the on site supervisory tasks or duties outlined above.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and individual will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by the overall business objectives as Diversion continues to evolve and grow.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Lantra M6 qualified is** essential.**:

- Experience of 12AB is desirable.
- Must be highly experienced in Low-Speed Traffic Management
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, where necessary.
- Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone.
- Ability to quickly resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts.
- Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence, with no more than 6 points
- Full understanding of current Health & Safety Legislation
- Experience of planning works for Operative Team
- Ability to complete work tasks with thoroughness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Good organisation skills
- Positive 'can-do' attitude
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in the use of a PC and the Microsoft Office suite of software
