The Regulatory Services Partnership delivers the private sector housing service on behalf of the London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames, Wandsworth Borough Council and Merton Council. A unique opportunity has arisen to be part of this innovative and ground-breaking partnership.

We have a vacancy for an Empty Property officer covering empty properties initiatives in the London Borough of Merton. This is a challenging position, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced officer who will be responsible for consistent and effective implementation of the empty property strategy and the Empty Property Grants Program.

We have a supportive, forward thinking Regulatory Services Team and there is the option to work from our sites in Merton, Richmond and Wandsworth.

The role demands a sound knowledge of housing legislation and the skills to successfully bring back in to use empty residential properties. Good written and oral communication skills are essential as you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
