**FrontEnd Developer (Web & Mobile)**

**Edinburgh - Permanent** - £45k-70k depending on experience

Hybrid working, with some office contact required in time

Front End Developer with Start-up creativity. We are currently looking for a Developer to join a rapidly expanding start-up. Working in a growing team we are looking for technical ideas, a passion for Web & Mobile app development and lots of innovation &creativity.

The company have always embraced flexible working, however proximity to the Central Belt, ideally Edinburgh is important, as being in the office circa 1 day a week/3 days a month will be a future requirement to assist collaboration, coaching, training andteam building initiatives.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Partaking in ownership for all Front End services, providing direction and innovation
- Sharing knowledge on the design principles and patterns behind web & mobile development
- Setting an example in mobile development, - preference for React & React Native
- Building relationships with leadership teams, product teams and other business partners
- Leading Design and Development, collaborating Product and DevOps teams
- Ensuring quality standards and driving best practice
- Bringing technical innovation and evolution - new tools, new techniques, patterns, re-use, etc
- Contribute to growth and evolution of colleagues, team, and broader business

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Strong software development experience at both Web and Mobile Apps,
- Experience developing and launch to AppStore or Google Play
- A solid understanding of Android / iOS design and quality principles
- A proven ability to pick up new technical skills and share/mentor from existing areas of strength
- A strong understanding of continuous integration, Agile development and app store release process.
- Ability and desire to work alongside DevOps and deployment teams, with some understanding of AWS
- Strong communication, engagement and influencing skills
