**About This Position**:
Joining us as a Librarian, you will ensure that the LRCs provide a comprehensive range of resources to support students and staff, regardless of their level or preferred method of study.

You will plan and oversee the organisation and management of the libraries, including the financial management of the library budget, Library Development Plan and the line management for the LRC Assistants and Senior LRC Assistant.

With previous experience of working with library management systems, you will have either a graduate or post graduate library qualification and have a working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal Classification system. Good communication and customer services skills are essential as is an ability to maintain an appropriate learning environment in the LRC for all students while promoting diversity and inclusivity. Previous experience of working in an educational setting and of supervising staff would be advantageous.

This role is 34 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 2 weeks.
