Quakers Lane Surgery is looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working in primary care to work alongside and support the existing team. The post is 24 hours per week.

The main duties of the role include:

- Phlebotomy + INR Management
- Urinalysis
- Blood pressure recording
- Carrying out ECGs
- Assist with chronic disease reviews, particularly Diabetes (Foot Care)
- Carrying out NHS health checks
- Ensuring all GP rooms are fully stocked
- Immunisations (not essential, training can be provided)
- Educate patients about their health and wellbeing so that they can develop their knowledge and understanding empowering them to be as self managing as possible.
- Opportunistically record QOF related information within skill set

Holiday cover is required, working as a team to cover holidays as and when needed.

Essential - basic literacy and numeracy skills; NHS Level; competent in Phlebotomy.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.10-£12.40 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
