Warwick Community Playschool is an independent committee run charity setting. We are an individual setting supported by a passionate team of practitioners and volunteers.
We are looking for a **trainee early years practitioner **to join us. Currently, this role is **fixed term** linked to the length of the apprenticeship programme.

What are we looking for?
- A dedicated, fun and friendly practitioner that is willing to work towards a level 2 or 3 in Early Years that is seen as full and relevant.
- A practitioner who can work towards a qualification as well as working full time, keeping up with all expected deadlines.
- A practitioner who understands the value of play and can adapt their 'teaching' to suit the needs of the children. We follow an 'in the moment' approach where the practitioners support learning through play.
- A practitioner who can be flexible within the team and work across the age ranges and different areas of the provision (indoors and out)
- You must be able to think on your feet and act on your own initiative.
- A practitioner who is hands on and not afraid of a challenge (or mess).
- A practitioner who is able to join and embrace working within our team.
- A practitioner who holds children at the heart of everything they do, which sometimes means working outside of work hours, completing additional tasks and training.
- Have a good pair of wellies....we love being outside in all weathers.

What can we offer?
- Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am until 4.00pm and Wednesday8.30am until 5.00pm. Plus one staff meeting a month. This is term time only and includes working teacher training days.

The salary is pro rata rate as we are term time only
