Takeaway Assistant

**About us**

We are _**the filly**_ takeaway in Dingwall.

We're about to undergo a massive refit with a brand new takeaway section.

We are looking for folk to help us become the best takeaway in Dingwall.

Paid breaks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in food preparation and cooking tasks in the kitchen
- Help with food service and presentation
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and serving customers
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to customers
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Basic maths skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week

**Experience**:

- Food preparation: 1 year (preferred)
