Sewing Machinist

**About us**

MSA Bristol Uniforms is a leading supplier of Fire Fighters PPE.

As well as supplying PPE to Brigades around the world we also Maintain many UK Fire Brigades Fire Fighting Uniforms.

In this role, you will be using your sewing skills to repair garments using an industrial sewing machine. As a member of our team you will at times be required to inspect and pack garments in the service centre as needed.

During the interview process you will be required to undertake a 20-30 mins trial period to enable a skills assessment to be made.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate machine tools such as overlock surge, flat bed
- Set up and adjust machines for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines.
- Monitor machine operations to detect problems.
- Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions.

**Salary**: £12.30 per hour

**Experience**:

- Machining: 1 year (preferred)
