Aloft Aberdeen is seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Guest Service Supervisor, reporting to Operations Manager and Guest Service Managers, to lead our exceptional front-line team and elevate our guest services to new heights

Our energetic atmosphere, cutting-edge technology, and unique urban design set us apart, and we're looking for a Guest Service Supervisor who can embody these qualities.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a Guest Service Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind creating an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality. Your main responsibilities will include:

- **Team Leadership**: Lead by example and inspire a team of guest service associates to deliver exceptional customer service. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- **Guest Engagement**: Be the face of Aloft Aberdeen Welcome guests with a genuine smile, assist with check-ins and check-outs, serving drinks and food in our funky WXYZ Bar, handle enquiries, and go the extra mile to exceed guest expectations.
- **Problem Solving**: Turn challenges into opportunities Effectively handle guest concerns and find creative solutions to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with various departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and management to coordinate guest requests and enhance overall service quality.
- **Upselling**: Promote hotel amenities and special offers to maximize guest experience and contribute to revenue growth.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and technology.
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and a passion for providing top-notch guest service.

Brownie points if you:

- worked with Opera before and have knowlodge of the system
- worked behind the bar and know how to shake some coctails

**Where Will You Be Working?**

Your new role of** GSS **will see you working in the Aloft Aberdeen TECA on the site of The Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA).

You will be a part of the team in, 150-bedroom Aloft Hotel on the site of the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference. Designed by architects Cooper Cromar, with interiors by Twenty2Degrees, this is the only Aloft Hotel of its kind in Scotland and will feature a WXYZ bar, RE:MIX lounge and gym.
