Estates and Facilities has a vision to co-create excellent learning, working and living environments that fully engage staff, students, visitors and industry and that facilitates the sharing of knowledge and information.

Estates & Facilities Services Directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University, including property maintenance, planned maintenance and renovation, cleaning, security, caretaking and facilitating spaces for our staff and students.

The Facilities Management team sits within the Estates and Property Service Division. Their core objective is to provide an essential and critical Facilities Management services across all campuses, to ensure the buildings and general estates are pleasant, fit for purpose and functional for all staff, students, visitors and all core business activities.

**So, what is it you will be doing as a Building Attendant?**

As a Building Attendant you will carry out the duties as described in the Job Description which are mostly the cleaning of the Media City building. The hours will be 6am until 9am and an earlier start time can be discussed.

Our Building Attendant Team provides an experienced cleaning service to our customers in the Media City building and takes great pride in delivering quality results at all times.

Collectively we want to improve and expand on the Universities approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). It will be part of the Building Attendant role to contribute towards creating an inclusive culture where all our students and staff recognise themselves in those that surround them and can bring their whole selves to the University.
