Onsite Stores Operative

Working as an Onsite Stores Operative, you will be a vital part of the Onsite team and in achieving its success to meet demands.
We are looking for an individual with a background in Manufacturing, PPE Stores, MRO, or a trade counter environment. Working well independently using their own initiative, as well as being an excellent team player.
We help our customers by ensuring they have the tools, spares and parts they need to operate, and work hard to obtain the best deals with suppliers.
We have an incredible opportunity for you to join one of our Onsite teams within this well known manufacturer, and are looking for a dynamic and ambitious person to develop the business and provide excellent service from within the Engineering Stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Stock/Non-Stock items in line with the customers’ requirements and demands
- Accurate maintenance of stock management system
- Receiving and putting away spare parts in the correct location
- Issuing parts to engineers
- Completing daily stock checks
- Dealing with overdue items
- Managing the quarantine area in terms of product queries/returns etc.
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the Stores environment
- Identifying proactive adjustments to stock levels to enhance service
- Dealing with customer enquiries and problems
- Previous Stores and/or Trade Counter experience is preferable
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Self-driven and motivated to see each assigned task through to the end
- Computer literate
- Attention to detail
