Sunday Housekeeper/cook

We have a great opportunity for an experienced part-time Housekeeper/Cook for a client based in a large, 6-bedroom family home in Highgate, London. This client is looking to appoint a trustworthy self-starter to support with housekeeping and casual cooking duties on a part-time basis every Sunday.

Supporting a team of 2 other housekeepers and a nanny, you will have exacting standards; a keen eye for detail and can hit the ground running from day one. Duties include all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, as well as tidying the general areas and feeding a small dog. A large part of this role is focused on preparing simple, homely meals for the family.

An expert in all household cleaning and laundry, you will need to have excellent knowledge of cleaning products and know-how to care for fine fabrics and finishes. You will be a team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and a professional and discreet demeanour. Clear communication and the ability to take direction are essential qualities for this role.

Working days will be every Sunday from 9:00am-7:30pm.

**DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Cleaning including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
- Laundry and ironing
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Feeding the family dog
- Rubbish and recycling management
- Ad-hoc duties as required

**ESSENTIAL CRITERIA**:

- Prior housekeeping experience within in a private household
- Fluency in spoken English
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Passion for cooking homely, simple meals
- Hardworking and dedicated
- DBS check or willingness to obtain one
- High attention to detail and exacting standards
- Flexibility with hours and duties
- Able to work independently
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Excellent checkable references
