Fuze Worker

FuZe Play & Climbing Centre is an activity centre and café based in Clydach, Rhondda; offering a combination of fun, innovative activities for all ages ensuring the centre is utilised to its maximum potential as well as offering good quality food, in a family friendly environment.
- **The post is for casual hours to start with the possibility of contracted hours pending a successful probationary period**_

**The successful applicant must;**
- Be pleasant and supportive to all members of staff and the community
- Answer telephone and face to face enquiries with sensitivity and compassion, understanding the implications

**Typical duties will include but not limited to**:

- Supervision of the play frame and play areas to ensure that children are playing safely and adhering to the ‘Rules of Play’
- Monitoring the operation of computerised booking in system, recording customers details as they enter the centre, creating memberships and ensuring security of the area by only allowing access to those customers that have booked in.
- Support the team with effective and efficient handling of cash, operating the cash register and following the finance procedures.
- Support with team with effective and efficient procedures for cleaning duties, ensuring areas are clean and at a high standard at all times.
- Reporting any faults immediately to the line manager.
- Support with effective and efficient service of the café ensuring customers are served in a timely and professional manner as well as observing and monitoring HACCP Policy & Procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Support the team with the preparation for parties and events and assisting customers during their special event
- Deal with customer concerns, complaints and suggestions utilising on site tools such as suggestion slips and complaints policy.
- Encourage participation in activities
- Challenge inappropriate behaviour in line with behaviour management policy
- General administrative duties.
- Ensure the facility is of the highest quality at all times
- **Successful applicant must be available to work weekdays and weekends / hours negotiable**_
- **The rate of pay for each worker will be dependent on their age (meets national minimum wage)**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
