**Live in / Out Couple House Keeper & Gardener/Maintenance Worker**
**Job description**
A Live in/out Couple are required to come and work for them in their family home and holiday let business on a family owned farm just outside Abergavenny. The couple must be motivated and enjoy variety.
**Positions**:
They are recruiting to fill two positions. Firstly, for a housekeeper and, secondly, for a maintenance manager/gardener.
- **Housekeeper**: household duties would include general housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, serving at occasional dinner parties and care of animals and children when needed. Help with the family holiday let business will takepriority over housekeeping chores when busy.
- **Gardener/Maintenance Manager**: Gardening duties will include, lawn and hedge maintenance, general household tasks such as painting, simple repairs and maintenance. Knowledge of and previous experience in the above duties is advantageous.
- You must be honest, self-motivated, industrious and able to work on your own initiative and speak good English
- At least one of you must be an experienced and competent driver. Owning your own car would be an advantage.
- Accommodation can be provided in a self-contained one bedroom flat on the estate.
- 5 day working week with flexible days off, not always on the weekends.

They have 7-bedroom home and 4 holiday lets that are situated within a family owned farm just outside Abergavenny. Their garden is about 2 acres in size and has formal lawns, with established borders, and a kitchen garden. They have 4 children who are schoolage.
They are in a lovely rural location. Their local market town Abergavenny is thriving and is described as the “Gateway to Wales”. There is excellent public transport and a train station. Bristol and Cardiff are within an hour and London just over 2 hours. Thereare plenty of outdoor pursuits locally (including the Black Mountains, the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons and stunning coast within easy reach.
