**Toolmaker/Manual Machinist**

**Role Type: Permanent**

**Pay: £14-15.60 p/h**

**Location: Nottinghamshire**

**Shifts**: 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights **OR** just day shifts

**The Role**

Our Nottingham based client has an exciting opportunity job for a Toolmaker to join their team.

**The ideal Toolmaker experience**:
Set, run and operate Toolroom machines consisting of EDM wire eroding, manual CNC mill and lathe machines, cylindrical and surface grinders to a high level of skill.

Understand and make parts using engineering and third angle projection drawings, understanding most general dimension and tolerance requirements;
Support and help to improve manufacturing methods;
Assist production departments to maintain and refurbish machine parts and associated equipment, and inputting of data.

**Desirable Toolmaker skills**:

- GCSEs (A-C grades including Maths and English) or equivalent.
- NVQ level 2 or 3.
- BTEC engineering qualification.
- AutoCAD - Solidworks
- Work on own initiative.
- Experience using EFACS or similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Willing to go the ‘Extra Mile’ to achieve the correct outcome
