**Experienced Structural Engineer/ Chartered Structural Engineer / Structural Surveyor**

**Location: Rochester, Kent.**

**Job Type: Full time and permanent**.

This is a terrific opportunity to work for a Structural & Civil Engineering Design Consultancy firm in Kent, specialising in the Structural Design of bespoke Architectural / Structural, Masonry / Timber Framed buildings for the Residential & Commercial sectoracross Kent, London & Essex. This rapidly expanding business has a real commitment to their employees who are at the forefront of their continued success.

**The Role**:

- Working as part of a skilled and professional team, providing layout, structural drawings, general arrangement and finalising the detailing of the specification designs, using AutoCAD software, 3D/2D software tools.
- Liaising with Architects, Project Managers, the Project Team and clients for projects ranging in value from £5K to £5Million.

**Requirements**:

- With a minimum of 4 years’ experience and with a Structural or Civil Engineering degree, you will have a solid background in 3D CAD Design and detailing to current BS / Eurocode standards, with strong PC skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office withexperience using Tekla Tedds / Tekla Structural Designer / Idea Statica.
- You will be highly motivated, intelligent, have excellent organisational / planning skills, confident in producing well considered structural designs, able to communicate effectively with clients as well as the ability to work on your own and as part ofa team.
