Base Serviced Apartments operates properties across Liverpool City Centre (where the head office is based) and one property in Chester.

We offer a comfortable and affordable alternative to hotel-living when it comes to business trips or long/short term visits. Our aim is to provide our customers with a home-from-home experience while they are away and to make their stay as enjoyable as possible by having a caring and professional approach.

We are looking for an experienced linen porter to support our housekeeping team, by ensuring that all laundry is dealt with correctly and by assisting with the general duties of the department.

**Requirements**:

- Valid UK driving licence essential
- Previous hotel experience, preferably in a similar role
- Smart, professional appearance and physically fit
- Good English language communication skills - spoken and written
- Ability to follow specific instructions
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends as per business demand

**Job description**:

- Preparing and dispatching clean linen to apartments in all locations
- Preparing cleaning products and equipment for housekeeping team
- Collecting dirty linen and removing excess litter from apartments
- Conducting linen audits when receiving and delivering the stock
- Taking stock counts of reject laundry daily
- Assisting the laundry company with delivering or collecting stock
- Being helpful and courteous to guests at all times, responding to their requests and reporting any feedback to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Ensuring the linen room is kept clean, tidy, and well stocked with linen, cleaning products, and supplies for apartments
- Assisting with heavy work such as turning mattresses, moving furniture, etc when required
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
- Complying with company policies regarding security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Carrying out all tasks as required by the Housekeeping Supervisor, including helping to clean apartments when required
