**Role Purpose**: To tender new business across the UK with a key focus on building long-term relationships with new and existing customers whilst overseeing the quotation and tendering process through to design.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of tenders from 33kV to 132kV
- Providing quotations and tenders for new connection works and turnkey projects utilising Sinewave’s in-house teams and supply chain.
- Key account management for new and existing customers including, top-level review with the clients.
- Talking to manufacturers & suppliers to develop partnerships for a turnkey solutions.
- Following up quotations and bringing feedback to the tendering and sales team for unsuccessful quotations.
- Attend site surveys & route walks, or tender interviews as necessary.
- Establishing key aspects associated with client requirements, providing quotations, liaising with internal departments and submitting final overview of project ability to the client.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontract returns to ensure compliance with the tender specification/documentation.
- Accurately undertake any necessary take-offs of drawings and schedules and perform data entry into the estimating software selected by the business. Follow all company procedures for enquiry and tender handling.
- Draft commentary regarding exclusions and clarifications associated with the return offer.
Working with SimPro and other business systems to follow company processes and maintain data integrity.Assist in creation / management or processes for the Estimating & Major Projects team.

**Requirements**:
**Core Competencies**:

- Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones, tablets, laptops etc.
- Excellent communication, including ability to adapt your communication style and outstanding listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Can use basic information and industry knowledge/experience to us pull together tenders
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
- Attention to detail i.e. the ability to produce high quality proposals and reports with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Desire to mentor, train and manage new team members as the business grows
