Construction Trainers

RMF Construction Academy is a leading construction education provider. We specialise in co-designed training and employment programmes for people who face barriers achieving sustained employment. As a result of the company's recent expansion, we are looking to hire several tutors with construction experience who want to help people transform their lives through skill development.

The roles involve working with serving prisoners delivering skills training to them as part of their wider rehabilitation journey. As a tutor you will play an important role in helping to shape the future of our learners. We are looking for people with a desire to help prisoners who are working towards and want an opportunity to gain employment and successfully reintegrate back into communities on release.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Play a pivotal role in delivery of RMF Justice sector contracts by organising and delivering training in construction plant and civil engineering programmes, including bespoke, CPCS, and Level 2, in a custodial setting.
- Contribute to developing new initiatives and new resources for education and training and ensure and promote a safe working environment in line with RMF and prison policies.
- Plan engaging and challenging sessions with course material that meets the need of individual learners and provide development feedback to help learners progress and actively engage them in their own evaluation and assessment
- Maintain group profiles, individual learning plans and additional learning support records
- Invigilate examinations and ensure that portfolios and written records are up to date to satisfy internal and external quality assurance criteria

We prefer that you have a teaching qualification, but experience and a desire to help people are more important. We offer a funded training programme to help you work towards a relevant teaching qualification.

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
