A great opportunity has become available at one of our top 25 law firms for either a contentious or a non-contentious Construction Solicitor to be based at any of the office detailed above.

This role will see you join one of the fastest growing teams in the UK and give you the option to work in an environment that could see you travel the globe as the firm has a global focus within the construction practice area, with offices in the Middle East, North America, Europe and East Asia. If international work is not what you are looking for, the offer up a national and regional option too.

You will be joining a team that has recently taken on a Director, 3 Partners a Senior Associate and a solicitor. The construction department which is going into its 25th year, handles work from both the public and the private sector and has clients such as the foreign and home offices, treasury, department of business among, Amazon, Adidas and various private equity companies.

As one of the company's Construction Associates, you will:

- Run a case load of client matters.
- Dealing with matters at all stages.
- Dealing with new client enquiries.
- Providing support to other fee earners in the construction department.
- Cost drafting as appropriate.
- Maintaining legal knowledge and skills

To be considered for this role you will have:

- 3 - 8 PQE (preferable but is only used as a guideline)
- Ability to work accurately in accordance with procedures and processes.
- Ability to deal with technical details and to express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and client-friendly way.
- Good spoken and written communication to deal with clients and other parties face to face, by telephone and in producing legal documents.
- Confident IT skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients' expectations and matter deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of a team.
