Night Porter

The Park Hotel is looking for a mature and physically fit person for the role of Night Porter in this 52 bedroom 3 star hotel in Montrose.

You will be responsible for the safety and security of our guests and the hotel during your shift. You will have a cheerful and welcoming personality and be capable of working to a high standard without constant supervision.

Duties include:

- Security checks.
- Setting up and clearing down function and meeting rooms.
- Night bar and Room Service.
- Late arrival guest check-ins and early check-outs.
- Helping guests with luggage.
- Breakfast service.
- Cleaning of public areas and toilets.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the management team.

You will have keen attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring our guests are well looked after during their stay.

Hours of work are 11.00pm - 9.00am on a 4 nights on/4 nights off shift rotation. You will be required to work extra shifts to cover holidays at this hotel and one other location in Montrose. Because of the shift pattern, average hours are 35 per week. Wages are paid 4-weekly.

Previous experience in the same or a similar position would be an advantage.
