**Duties/role**:

- Assisting Core Section Head with the development of technical solutions for all maritime afloat tasking, development of troubleshooting SOPs, and technical refresh/upgrade of all system hardware;
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of ship surveys prior to scheduled CIS installation;
- Assisting with the System Administration (SA) of HW and SW of assigned systems;
- Ensuring all technical and service oriented documentation pertaining to assigned systems, interconnections, supporting cable plant etc. is prepared, properly stored and kept up-to-date;
- Ensuring Configuration Control data is reported to Core Section Head in a timely manner;
- Being involved in providing remote support of Flagship handovers for those nations involved in the Standing Naval Forces (SNF's);
- Maintaining a close liaison with other technicians and engineers within the CSU and the wider NCIA.
