SEN Instructor required for an Alternative Provision in Burnley

Pay: £120-£195 per day

Start date: ASAP - July 2023 with the view to go permanent

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students with SEMH, SEN and behavioural needs
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents and colleagues
- Work closely with other members of staff to provide a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Implement and maintain effective behaviour management strategies
- Attend and contribute to meetings and professional development opportunities

**Requirements**:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in an SEN or Alternative Provision setting
- Strong understanding of SEN and how to support students with a range of needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team

The role is on a supply basis with pay rates between £120-£195 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
