**£25,000 - £30,000**

**Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00**

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Export Operator to join a leading freight forwarding business who specialise in shipping to 100+ countries worldwide and are focused on 'going the extra mile’ for both customers and employees.

They are seeking an Export Operator to join their multi model operation. This expanding business presents opportunities to progress, develop and learn within their culture driven team.

- 2 years’ experience within a similar Freight Forwarding or Export role is desirable
- Knowledge of Import & Export procedures / processes is desirable
- Experience of using freight forwarding systems such as Multi-Freight and Cargo Wise
- Proven experience of rate negotiation with both clients and third parties
- DG experience preferred but not essential
- Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary
- Results driven with a consistent approach with the ability to inspire and motivate
- Must have a 'can do’ attitude
- Presentable, polite and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- Competent decision making
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

**Duties and Responsibilities;**
- Completing export customs on Chief/CDS
- Book transport with hauliers and build relationships with set of your won hauliers
- Handle the coordination of freight (Road, Air or Ocean)
- Handle all operational aspects of export file management
- Liaise with third party hauliers for planning any additional capacity
- Produce a range of freight documentation including DGN's and bills of lading
- Raising Chamber of Commerce documents
- Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients
- Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo
