Purpose of Role: The Weir Group are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant to join our global team during a period of transition to support the management and strategy of the Security Operations function. As a Senior Cyber Security Consultant, you will leverage your expertise to support internal management to excel function maturity. You will work closely with Security Operations leadership and with the Director of IT, legal and compliance, product groups, infrastructure and service operations across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:- Support Senior Management to develop and implement an operational cyber security roadmap-
- Provide expert advice in cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to inform decision-making-
- Security Operations Management:- Support Security Operations Management during a transitional period-
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of security best practices into the development lifecycle-
- Support establishing standardised resource management processes across the operational security space- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Excellent communications and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams-
- Accomplished senior leader in security operations, digital security and enabling technologies and processesStrong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards and best practices-
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent would be advantageous
