£24,365.68 per annum

**Shift pattern**: 4 on 4 off

Do you share our vision to make Bristol a greener place to live and work? The successful applicant will direct and control daily operations involving the efficient receipt, segregation for recycling, loading and transfer of waste delivered to the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre (HRRC)

**REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE**:

- Demonstrable ability to effectively direct an operational team, providing guidance, instruction, support and motivation
- Experience of dealing with a wide range of colleagues and customers and use of appropriate communication skills in responding to and resolving operational issues
- Experience or ability to demonstrate suitability for physical work involving lifting up to 25kg
- Ability to gain LGV Class II licence and ability to drive/operate a range of mobile plant, equipment and vehicles
- Willingness to be work flexibly and adapt to changing roles in order to meet operational requirements
- Proven experience of effective contribution to team working
- The ability to use IT systems and computerised weighbridge (training will be given)
- Demonstrable experience of ability to work effectively without direct supervision
- Demonstrable understanding of health and safety and other associated relevant legislation
