- 23-Jan-2023Our client is a leading manufacturer of paper products in the UK and supply to major retailers nationally. They currently have several exciting opportunities to join them on a permanent basis as a Machine Setter.

The shifts for the Machine Setter are based on a rotation of both days and nights on a 4 on 4 off basis 06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00. Overtime is also available on a regular basis.

The pay rate offered for this role is £14.35 per hour.

The site offers a canteen, onsite parking, lockers & the access to their staff shop. They have extensive gardens for use on their tea breaks and lunch breaks.

Duties of the Machine Setter will include:
Assisting with the production plan and conducting change overs where necessary
Communicate any process or machine issues to the Shift Management Team
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose any machine malfunctions
Record maintenance or repair work on relevant documentation
Ensure machines continue to run smoothly
Recommend any improvements to the Shift Management Team
Maintain the working areas and workshop in a respectable clean manner

Due to the location of this site it is necessary to have your own transport.
