We are looking for a junior property consultant who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a real estate property. Your job duties may vary depending on the type of property they manage.

**Your roles**:

- Rent Collection: Property managers collect rent from tenants on a monthly basis and ensure that rent payments are received on time. They may also enforce late fees or take legal action against tenants who fail to pay rent.
- Tenant Management: Property managers handle tenant complaints, requests, and maintenance issues. They also handle lease renewals, tenant screening, move-in and move-out inspections, and evictions.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Property managers are responsible for ensuring that the property is well-maintained. They schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and ensure that the property is safe and habitable.
- Budgeting and Accounting: Property managers create and manage budgets for the property, including tracking income and expenses, and maintaining financial records. They may also negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, and authorize expenditures.
- Marketing and Advertising: Property managers may be responsible for marketing and advertising the property to attract new tenants. This may include creating property listings, conducting property tours, and coordinating with real estate.

**Your skills**:

- Excellent communication skills: You are able to communicate effectively with a range of people, including landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Organizational skills: Managing multiple properties and tenants can be a complex task, so letting agents must be highly organised and able to manage their time effectively.
- Customer service skills: You are able to provide a high level of customer service to both landlords and tenants, responding to enquiries promptly and courteously.
- Sales skills: The ability to sell properties and convince prospective tenants to rent is a critical skill for letting agents.

Overall, the role of a property manager is to ensure that the property is well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and the property is profitable for the owner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £12,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
