**Role Overview**

An experienced Energy Consultant with either / or Gas and Electricity industry experience within the UK energy Market.

The role of the Energy Consultant will involve generating sales to new and existing clients. The successful applicant will be involved in projects from the initial definition of the scope right through to go-live and post implementation support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively promote the relevant services of the company to customers in accordance with Company procedures, and to optimise the overall value of the sale.
- Effectively understand and assess customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, including the ability to provide accurate written quotations and summaries for customers.
- Creating and sustaining client/customer relationships by using a consultative sales approach.
- Respond to all leads and enquiries.
- Respond to follow up calls and action returns in an efficient time frame.

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Experienced in energy-based sales, ideally B2B
- A proven history of meeting and exceeding set targets
- Be able to build rapport with customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using UD POWWR
- Strong written and verbal communication competencies
- Subject matter expertise and deep understanding of the end-to-end industry defined processes operating in the UK Energy Retail Market including knowledge of upcoming industry changes such as Faster Switching & Consequential Changes
- Detailed knowledge of relationships between industry participants in the market including the governance, regulation and the data transfer / communications mechanisms which support these relationships.
- Knowledge of key drivers of change within either the Gas or Electricity industry segments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
