**Job Description**:
Full Time: 39 hours per week on a flexible shift pattern

**Salary**: £12.11 per hour, plus salary enhancements for weekend work

Location: Hinkley Point C

Reporting to the Chef Manager and Chef Supervisors, you will be a key member of the back of house team, ensuring the Chefs have the support they need each day to create thousands of meals to an exceptional quality standard.

You’ll assist with food preparation, so some previous experience of handling food or preparing food in a restaurant environment would be incredibly valuable in this role, as you’ll also assist with storing raw materials in their correct locations. With the amount of produce we deal with on a daily basis, you'll do a fair bit of heavy lifting, so the ability to safely cope with heavy loads is a must.

Alongside this, you’ll help keep the kitchen clean and tidy, cleaning equipment, crockery and cutlery to an extremely high standard, so you’ll need to have a conscientious and adaptable attitude towards your working day.

This is a really exciting opportunity, and we will develop your career with us. You will find yourself working any five days out of seven, on a combination of early and late shifts. There are a variety of shift patterns available, however you will need a degree of flexibility as these range from 5.30am to midnight.

You will be a polite and enthusiastic individual, with high standards for customer service and a 'can do' attitude.

We also love to invest in our staff, so you will receive training from the first week you start, including courses on Food Hygiene level 2, allergens training and fire safety. We'll also look to develop you and encourage your growth through the business.

Successful applicants will be required to provide a three-year employment history and five-year address history in order to work on Hinkley Point C. They must be able to provide in date photographic ID and their right to work in the UK so that security clearance can be obtained as these roles are based on a nuclear regulated site.
