Manual Machinist

Pertemps Bristol are recruiting an experienced Manual Machinist for low-volume, high-variety role within a manufacturing company that specialises in refurbishing engines and gearboxes.
- Based in Weston Super Mare - BS24
- £32,708 per annum basic salary
- 37 hour working week
- Monday to Thursday 07.30-1600, Friday 07.00-1200
- Over time paid at £25.50 per hour
- 25 days holiday per year pro rata, plus bank holidays
- Free parking on site or easy access by public transport

About the Job
- Low-volume, high-variety manual machining
- Crankshaft grinding and polishing
- Engine block skimming
- Cylinder boring and honing
- Valve seat cutting
- Setting / operating CNC equipment - machine-specific training will be provided
- Previous background in manual machining in a manufacturing /production environment
- Mechanically minded with the ability to use various hand tools
- While machine-specific training will be provided, a solid machining background is essential for this role.
