**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:
Taking a leading role in driving Mint Velvet’s Finance agenda (business performance, transformation, talent development)

Ensuring that as a commercially-focused finance function, we are effectively supporting our internal business partners in the delivery of their strategic and operational priorities

Leading the development of strong commercial insight and providing effective challenge to the digital and performance marketing teams, ensuring ROI is optimised across all channels

Being the Finance lead in developing and delivering our international strategy

Driving a step-change in our Brand processes and commercial capabilities to build a clear view of customer performance

Providing proactive actionable insight to the leadership team, that simplifies complex data and drives us forwards

Preparation of robust business cases to support capital investment

Leading timely reporting and analysis to inform critical business decisions

Using financial modelling to support revenue-generating streams of the business and leading projects within the finance team that support business growth

Leading the implementation of our KPI dashboard - liaising with key stakeholders across the business to build out the KPI dashboard for internal reporting

Being accountable for the delivery of projects within the finance team to automate and improve processes and enable scalability

Ensuring that the internal systems and controls in place are appropriate for the evolving scale and complexity of the business, identifying and driving continual improvements as necessary

Being accountable for all technical accounting matters and ensuring the team achieve ongoing compliance with FRS 102

Overseeing the audit process with our external auditors

Holding responsibility for all FX requirements within the business

Ensuring your team is always clear about the work to be done (leading activity with clear targets & timescales) and how their work fits into the bigger strategic picture

Focusing on driving high performance, through setting SMART objectives and supporting ongoing training and development, including 1:1 coaching on the job and encouraging an ongoing transfer of knowledge & skills and utilising training, development and support resources available to drive your personal development

**WHAT YOU’LL HAVE**
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a finance leadership role in a fast-paced consumer environment
- Brilliant Excel skills
- Strong relationship-management and communication skills, to socialise strategic initiatives and implement solutions
- Adept at ensuring priorities are clear in a fast-moving context to achieve the best results
- Knowledge of stock, as well as audit and software systems
- Able to challenge at the most senior level, asking the questions that make people stop and think
- Drive and energy to make things happen at pace, with a keen eye on the detail
- Great leadership skills - inspiring a high performance and can-do team culture where teamwork and adaptability thrive, and knowing when to be hands on and get into the detail
- Forward-thinking approach; you drive your own performance and are proactive in your professional and technical development
