Bakery Operative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the production of baked goods and ensure the smooth operation of the bakery. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a passion for creating delicious treats.

**Duties**:

- Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, including frying and icing.
- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste of products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery, including cleaning workstations, equipment, and utensils
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production

**Skills**:

- Experience in food production or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe quantities
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and consistent product quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
