We’re looking for a Safety, Health, Environmental and Assurance (SHEA) Apprentice to join our Kier Utilities team. Within this role, you can enjoy flexible working, gaining a recognised qualification, work on exciting projects and even more.

**Location**: Flexible, nationwide - remote working available, with travel across country

**Contract**: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

**Responsibilities**

As a SHEA Apprentice, you’ll be working within the Kier Utilities team, supporting them in ensuring the highest possible standards of SHEA responsibility are implemented across the business.

Your day to day will include:

- Actively promoting safety, health, and welfare, leading and setting good examples to employees and stakeholders
- Assist the operational teams in developing risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Ensuring all accidents, incidents, and near misses, are reported quickly and are also effectively investigated
- Support management teams in the development of health and safety related documents

Alongside your role, you will also study for a **Level 3 Safety, Health and Environmental Technician **qualification with support from our experienced teams - giving you the practical skills and expertise to excel in your career.
