Reports Writer

**CAN** is a specialist civil engineering contractor working throughout the UK and abroad. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit a **Reports Writer **to work in the Reports Department within the Structures division, based at our head office in **Chesterfield**, Derbyshire.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analysis of structural inspection data
- liaising with in house and third-party laboratories for the testing of construction samples and the creation of factual defect reports for our clients.

**Experience and skills required**:

- Civil/ Structural Engineering degree
- Previous reports writing experience
- Good IT skills (including familiarity with Microsoft Office)
- Proficient English language and literacy skills
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge would also be preferred, but training will be provided
- Can work independently and capable of multi-tasking
- Ability to organise, prioritise and problem solve are essential, as is a keen sense of attention to detail.
