**Estimator - Construction (Schedule of Rates exp)**

Howells Recruitment are working with a reputable Contractor who specialise in Construction refurbishment and new build projects across the South.

You will have experience of working as an Estimator with SOR schedule of rate exp. Attention to detail and great written and verbal communication skills will be essential to your success. You will be comfortable in pricing large scale projects and confident to manage 2-3 smaller jobs at the same time using an estimating Software.

**Estimator Responsibilities**:

- Undertake the preparation of tenders/bids/budget proposals allocated by the Managing Director for presentation to the relevant directors for final settlement.
- Provide all information necessary for inclusion within the written bid submission.
- Liaise with subcontractors/suppliers to obtain competitive/accurate quotations for specialist elements of the works.
- Visit prospective projects to verify information contained within clients contract documentation and obtain any further information required to produce the tender.
- Liaise with the Programme Manager to ensure all necessary information is provided for the production of the final tender programme.
- Attend pre-contract handover meetings, all necessary bid meetings and client meetings as requested throughout the tender process
- SOR - Schedule of rate experience is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Tandridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
