Shop Assistants Required

Evenings, Weekends, Daytimes...

We are a family run grocery store with a busy Food to Go Counter. We are looking for shop assistants and Food to Go Assistants to join our friendly team.

Duties can include:

- Assist customers in finding products and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor.
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Help set up and serve on the Food to Go (when agreed)
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not essential
- Good people skills. Friendly...a smile goes a long way
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings (if agreed)

**Salary**: £7.49-£11.66 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 39 per week
